Life-size high relief sculpture of St. Joseph and the Christ Child, for St. David Church in Arnold, Missouri.  Relief sculptures can be an excellent means of depicting relationships and telling stories.  They can be very low (bas relief), or as in this sculpture, project from the wall in varying degrees.  Usually a relief sculpture is less expensive than an "in the round" sculpture.
